Preschool Teachers

All teachers and staff have certification in CPR and First Aid as well as certificates in TN ELDS Developmental Learning Standards.  All employees obtain a minimum of 18 training hours per year.

Kellie Phelps, Co-Teacher

Joined staff in June 2012

Kellie has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Muskingum College in New Concord, Ohio

Before coming to BMCC Kellie was a Lead Teacher at Youthland Academy, in Newtown, Ohio

 

 

 

 

 

 

Debra Perkins, Co-Teacher

Joined staff in July 2012

Debra is a certified Nutrition Specialist, is TECTA & TNELDS certified, and is currently enrolled at Nashville State Community College

Before coming to BMCC Debra was a cook/teacher at Victory Leaning Center

 

 

 

 

 

 

Liping Conatser, Co-Teacher

Joined staff in June 2012

Liping comes from Xin Xiang China with a Bachelors degree in Manufacturing Technology from the Wuhan Institute of Technology.

Before coming to BMCC, Liping taught Chinese at Nashville Chinese School.

Casey Deel, Lead Teacher

Joined staff in 2009

Graduated from Free Will  Baptist College with B.S. in Business

Before coming to BMCC, Casey worked as a nanny for 4 ½ years.

Currently enrolled at Nashville Technical Institute
